PROJECTS
Despite being a fledgling NGO, we have already started several project sites, with generous donations of bikes and kit from various seed donors. See below for details on specific projects, both active and upcoming.
01
Somkhanda Community Reserve
Somkhanda Community Game Reserve is a community owned Big 5 game reserve that stretches across 12 000 hectares of natural Zululand Bushveld.
Working together with Wildtrust, we donated 2 Specialized Tero E-Bikes to their anti-poaching unit.
To date they have helped reduce snares by 366%!!

iSimangaliso Wetland Park -
Turtle Monitoring Programme
iSimangaliso Wetland Park and its 220km shoreline, is one of only a handful of marine World Heritage Sites globally that protects the beach nesting sites of sea turtles. It is globally significant.
Leatherback turtles are critically endangered, while Loggerhead turtles are listed as threatened in the Red data book.
The costs to maintain the project are ever increasing and we can help reduce these, by replacing costly Land Cruisers with E-Fatbikes for patrols and monitoring.

Munywana Conservancy (Phinda/Zuka/Bumbeni)
Munywana is a 28,622.27 hectare, world class game reserve, protecting numerous endangered species and habitats while supporting thousands of livelihoods.
The reserve is also unique in its desire to work in the surrounding communities to nurture robust future focused communities who support the conservation efforts of their neighbours.
Not only will our bikes be used for conservation work within the park, we will have 2 bikes with community conservation ambassadors who use them to visit local school to talk about the importance of conservation.
